1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ALTARE! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our wedding planning application and services. By accessing or using ALTARE, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ALTARE is a wedding planning platform that provides:

• Wedding planning tools and resources
• Video tutorials and educational content
• Budget calculators and timeline planners
• Guest address book and invitation tools
• Moodboard generators and floor planning tools
• Access to professional wedding planners via video consultations
• Community features (when available)

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using ALTARE, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Trial

ALTARE offers a 7-day free trial for new users. After the trial period ends, you will be charged according to your selected subscription plan unless you cancel before the trial expires.

4.2 Subscription Plans

ALTARE offers the following subscription options:

• Monthly Plan: $12/month - Flexible month-to-month subscription that can be cancelled anytime
• 6-Month Plan: $70 for 6 months - Save with a 6-month commitment

4.3 Billing and Payment

Subscription fees are billed in advance according to your chosen plan (monthly or every 6 months). All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.

4.4 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or 6-month) unless you cancel before the next billing cycle. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to ALTARE (photos, text, planning details). By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide our services.

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' use of the service
• Share your account with others

6. Intellectual Property Rights

ALTARE and its content (including tutorials, templates, and tools) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

7. Professional Services

7.1 Wedding Planning Consultations

Video consultations with ALTARE wedding planners are professional services subject to availability. We strive to provide quality advice but cannot guarantee specific outcomes for your wedding.

7.2 Day-Of Event Management

Our day-of event management services are subject to separate agreements and additional fees. These services are available in the NYC tri-state area.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

ALTARE is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Wedding planning decisions or outcomes
• Technical issues or service interruptions
• Loss of data or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or other reasons with reasonable notice.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
